This LEVOIT Air Purifier LV-H132 Review is about an elegant ozone-free device for medium size rooms, ultra-silent and highly efficient with its 3-stage filtration system.

This air purifier has three different levels of operation and it is ultra-silent on its lowest level, with 25 dB maximum. They claim it circulates room air over 4 times per hour to achieve rapid purification, and this is optimal to keep the air clean. According to the specifications, it is best suited for medium size rooms up to 129 ft² (12 m²).

Note that on the manufacturer’s site they call it Levoit LV-H132 Compact HEPA Air Purifier. The word ‘compact’ indicates that they have them in a variety of sizes, and this particular model is available in tow colors, white and black. So this model size is (L x D) 12.6 x 7.9 inches (32 x 20 cm) and it will fit anywhere in the room.

You have options to choose between two brightness settings at night, but you can also turn the light off entirely.

About the filter

This purifier is on Amazon under the name LEVOIT LV-H132 Purifier with True HEPA Filter, so if you are not familiar with this terminology, HEPA filter means ‘high-efficiency particle air filter’. But this device comes with a triple filter that includes a pre-filter, HEPA filter, and an activated carbon filter, so you have more than what its name says.

They write that the filter should be replaced every 6 months, but this may depend on the air quality in the room. I seriously doubt such a statement, be prepared to replace it more frequently, this is usual with such devices. They have the filter under the code LV-H132-RF. It is available here.

Note that it comes with a built-in replacement indicator that will let you know when you need to replace the filter, so no worry if you lose the track of the last replacement, this is a smart device.

You will want to know that it comes with CARB Certificate and it is also ETL and FCC certified. This can be a perfect gift for family and friends.
